Job Summary   As part of the Authority’s expanding legal team, the Senior Counsel Officer will support the delivery of the New Jersey Wind Port, a major Greenfield infrastructure project located in Southern New Jersey, which the Authority’s Infrastructure Division is developing on behalf of the State. The position will also provide legal support and counsel to the Authority’s broader programmatic activities, including other major capital and infrastructure projects and economic initiatives.  The position will help to manage legal work streams, including coordinating with the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office to ensure project/program development and compliance with state law and the Authorities’ policies.  The position will also participate in negotiations towards contractual close with a range of the Authority’s counterparties.   Success in this role will require an ability to provide effective counseling across a broad spectrum of legal issues, as well as representation in negotiations with sophisticated private counterparties. The position requires the ability to quickly comprehend state law and complex regulatory issues as it relates to major infrastructure projects, including areas such as but not limited to labor, construction, real estate/property, and environmental/permitting. Job Summary    The Analyst serves as an advisor and provides support for the New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s Office of International Innovation and Partnerships. Job Summary   Reporting to the Director, Food Security, the Project Officer will work with the Economic Security team to implement and manage programs to strengthen access to fresh, affordable, healthy food for communities across New Jersey. The Project Officer will support the implementation of food security products and program areas including, but not limited to: Food Desert Relief Supermarket Tax Credits, the Food Retail Innovation in Delivery Grant (FRIDG), the Atlantic City Food Security Grants Pilot Program, and the Food Desert Relief Tax Credit Auction. The Project Officer will also contribute to research on new program development, policy best practices, performance measurement, and provide analytic support for EDA’s initiatives relating to food security. Job Summary   The Office of Economic Transformation’s (OET’s) mission is to accelerate the growth of New Jersey’s economy by conceiving and implementing initiatives that enhance the State’s long-term economic competitiveness and establish New Jersey as an innovation leader within key strategic sectors, including life sciences and technology, transportation and logistics, clean energy, offshore wind, financial services and advanced manufacturing.
