    Job Summary


    Performs duties that will assist the ITS Systems manager and ITS staff with ongoing IT projects and day to day support for software applications and hardware. Candidate will also provide supplemental help desk coverage as needed.


    $15.00 - $16.00


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    • Assist with ongoing Windows 10 and PC/laptop upgrade/deployment. Work with configuring hardware, Microsoft Deployment Server, and various desktop applications.
    • Provide supplemental desktop and helpdesk support in a primarily Microsoft environment
    • Learn basic Active Directory and Office 365 administration under supervision of ITS staff.
    • May gain exposure to Cisco, Juniper, and Microtik network devices on multi-site WAN network
    • Gain exposure to Server and Desktop Virtulization
    • Assist ITS staff with user training, researching new applications, etc.
    • Promotes teamwork and communication to encourage an interactive, cooperative, collaborative, and customer focused work environment among division, EDA staff, and external customers.
    • Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned.


    Required Skills and Abilities


    • Interest in IT system operations, including applications, hardware, mobile devices, networking, etc
    • Proficient with Windows Desktops and applications including Outlook
    • Proficient with Android Smartphones
    • Basic understanding of Windows Domain and Server concepts, SAAS applications, TCP/IP networking
    • Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of user’s timelines
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; proficient in grammar, spelling and editing; and foster communications with business professionals and EDA staff
    • Ability to prioritize workload, must be highly organized, detail-oriented, handle various tasks simultaneously and work independently within limited time constrains with little or no supervision
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and deal effectively and diplomatically with business professionals and EDA staff
    • Demonstrates respectful behavior and promotes teamwork and communication to encourage an interactive, cooperative, collaborative and customer focused work environment among division, EDA staff and external customers. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software packages


    Required Qualifications


    Education and Experience Requirements

    • Actively pursuing Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.



    Physical Demands

    • Must be able to lift approx. 50 lbs to assist with moving hardware, etc



    • As necessary to events, meetings, businesses, etc.


    Certificates and Licenses Required

    • Valid driver’s license
